Wow!! I got the Edge Comp hooked up (no pump wire yet) and some BDII's and a full set of Autometer gages (EGT, Boost, Fuel Pressure, Trans Temp for Rear Diff) and it is great! I couldn't get a bit of smoke before --- not a problem now, in fact I will be able to help with mosquito abatement this next summer. Best of all it really goes... ... ... it's hard to believe the difference!

If you're like me and been reading these posts and wondering if you should do it ??? The answer is yes! At this level the clutch is still holding but I have not towed the 5er yet.

My son Shane also got some goodies from Santa, a set of BDII's for the old 12 valve but he is still outside doing some work on it. He says he can still beat me. (Not that we would race or anything Honey. )

with all that power, you will need a new clutch soon. I did on my 6 speed. I bought the South Bend Con OFE clutch it was about $900 but well worth it. I did a sled pull with it and pulled a 40,000# sled 200 ft. and it never slipped:--)

Glad you got them from santa...

Eric

Well I spoke too soon... ... ... . Clutch is slipping, boohoo! I don't have the pump wire hooked up so I understand it is like an EZ, what difference does it make to go to different levels with the Comp if the wire is not hooked up?:( :(
