When I found it this morning, I dropped a 2500 bid on it. A few hours later I dropped a 4000 bid and it was not enough!

Sounds a lot like a truck being sold on ebay a few weeks ago. I think seller location was Libby, Mt. Old man story was similar. Must be more than one old gent that didn't drive much and kept the truck in a garage to look at.
