My hats off to you mod guys making them cummins motors talk! How many RPM'S are most turning in the mod class? :--) VERY VERY IMPRESSIVE! Got to catch a class in the near future. Any HRDTRA pulls near NY? Again VERY impressed with the cummins HP. Hats off to scheids and all who make it happen :-laf JLIGHT

Not as much as one may think.

He peddled it pretty good comin out of the whole, I thought he was just blowing the tires off of it causing it to turn more RPM. Maybe the track conditions.

I'm assuming this is the mod class your talking about and that doesn't sound to me like 4k, I could be wrong though.

Mr. Haisley told me that scheid trys to leave the line in the 6K+ range and shoot to be going down the track at the 5K mark. Scheid(Kent Crowder) of course this was two years ago or so.

I know of street trucks that turn over 4k... mods are over 5k it just doesn't sound that high because the twin chagers muffles it some.

Take brad Ingrams truck for example, his truck sounds like it is spinning way more rpm than most the mod class,because he is running a big single.
