A buddy of mine worked in this area for 30+ years... . his Dad started the company and they installed almost every major tower in the Western US... this will pucker your ... well you know what... ... if you don't like heights you will be uneasy... ... and what about OSHA ??????

I have a friend that done this same type repair on the towers over in Japan. He worked for an outfit that built them and when he came home they still called him to do repairs on the antenna over there.

Yep, it was posted on DieselRam a couple weeks ago, and also has hit the junk email circuit.

Yup, I got nervous and had to shut it off when he got to the electrical box. I'm not bad a few hundred feet off the ground if I have something to hang on to, but watching him climb that without even a safety line was too much. Pretty sure hooking to the step was a big no-no too, if he fell the step could bend and the hook would shoot right off it.

There's a difference between being brave and being stupid. I know which he is.
