1985 CAT D3B White Smoke?

Check this out!

Somebody needs to post a link to that website over at the Diesel-Stop. There are many over there that need it.

JyRO posted the link under the 6. 0 forum (I think this morning).

It's gone now, without so much as reason why. Those moderators deserve an "attaboy" for protecting the readers over there.

I talked to one of our excavating contractors today while we were removing some snow tonnage. He had juuust replaced his fleet of utility rigs with F 350 6. 0's. (Nice setups I must say too) He has a total of 5 of them. 3 have been back to the dealer on numerous occasions and he is fed to the teeth. The dealer is being only as cooperative as they are allowed to. One truck he brought in for a stalling issue and made it to the dealer. The next day he was able to pick it up and he did so. After making it 4 miles from the dealer's parking lot it quit on him right in the middle of an intersection. So he hopped on the horn and told them to come and get it. an hour later he got the dreaded phone call that the injection pump has now gone belly up. SOOooooo I kinda brought him inside and let him read the website , and a few on the DieselStop. Needless to say he should be registering tonite over there and doing some reading.

I did put the link on there...

You guys are right, I did put the link on there. It was deleted by the moderators for, "The 6. 0L Forum is for discussion of 6. 0L engine and trans only. " That is an exact quote.

Seems to me that the 6. 0L forum is exactly where that link should be ... since it relates directly to discussion of the 6. 0L. That website couldn't exist without the 6. 0L! :D :D

Well, they didn't want to hear it. I was told that it may get put out to pasture in the "Other" forum, but I haven't gone and looked.

It's just plain nuts that they would not want a helpful link up. I have read over there that some guys are juuust begging to get out of their truck so they don't loose any more value , time , money , and patience.
