Off Roading will 15" rims fit on a 2500?

Competition what injecters to get?

he told me that even haisleys dont use much bigger injector than that for thier pulling trucks making over a 1000hp said that 370's are about as big as he needs, i am taking that it was with that pump. my 95 with most of the same stuff i dont think will break much if at all over 500. let alone just barely maxing out a 500hp dyno then claiming 800hp because theres no proof that it didnt do it. he said he runs with haisleys and other big 800hp pullers so he has sompthing to compare it to.

yeah the tard needs to change his ad to read 500+ HP if he can confirm he maxed out a 500HP dyno then that is all he has proof for. you cant claim 800+ using the SOP meter and comparing his pulling performance to that of other trucks that "claim" 800HP too. there are SOOO many variables in sled pulling you couldnt duplicate a pull with exactly matched trucks.

Good luck selling it, that's all i got to say. and 26 degrees of timing is absolutely stupid. i bet he runs to 4. 5K too with a big smile through his gapped teeth. I'm starting to distance myself from these midwest guys more every day. friggin corn fed's

he says he can only get about 4300 out of it with his own tweeking. told him i had most of the same stuff but with twins and i would be happy to reach the 500 mark and he quieted down a bit. i asked him if it was a 913 pump and he said uhhhhhh its the one that cam on the truck stock, but i have done a lot to it. that means he broke the 500+hp with a bone stock pump with gov springs and no plate, a set of 370's, and a hx50 turbo. nothin else. this truck isnt adding up that well i can say that.

I agree 26 is stupidly low. I take it thats what your trying to say

Hmm even though ive got a 24V Im thinking about painting the TQ pretty pink to up the HP, I dont need a DTT I just need some good spray paint :-laf, too bad we cant post anything against his claim on ebay :( ah well some city slicker looking for another hobby will buy it and tell all his pencil pushing friends that hes got a 800HP pickup to go along with his Jaguar and yacht down in socal :-laf

Ian

I think 26* of timing on that truck is high. A small charger and a pump not putting out a ton of fuel doesn't need that much timing. In fact I would bet he would do much better somewhere around 20*-22*.

Doug

damn i was gonna say about 19* but that works too. so ya think dupont can match that color and meet the 800hp mark ian?? :-laf buy in bulk and resale for big profits!!!everyone can have 800hp Oo.

man i gotta get back to work

matt

SSHHHHhhhhhhh Matt!!! that was going to be our profit making venture! we will have to copywrite it!! hahaha :-laf

Yep Frost Laws and slow winter work makes ya go crazy... :p I think... heck I dont know! is it friday yet? someone just msg me when its 70*s and friday afternoon!

Ian

Back in the day of the b1, i had 28 degrees and i thought it ran good, little more fuel than him though and a different cam. Did make for some interesting starts on cold days at school. Kind of made the whole city block a big white cloud too. :-laf

Yeah ok!!!

OMG you are breaking the TDR code of having timing over 16. 5874 degrees!!! Your truck is going to blow!

I didnt say anything about a code. in fact, i havent even received my "code book" yet :D

this was from the other thread i thought i'd share what i found.

"What pulling events has this truck won? Will you compile a list for me. Also can you give a ballpark figure of the reserve?"

Reserve is $18,000. 00 ... you can call me about the pulling events! 1st place-Rochester,Camden,Warsaw, Plymouth (within last 3 years)-2nd place - Rochester-bi county(due to loosing charge air hose in pull off), Winamac, top 10 at Diesel Extravaganza out of 65.

he placed 11th in that show missing 10th by about 8/10ths of a foot and first by almost 20feet. more interesting stuff to know is there were no infamous 800HP pullers in the 8000# street class that night. they all pulled in the 8000# Pro Street class with the winner being some 38 feet farther than he and that's assuming the sled was the same for both classes.

wonder what other mistruths this guy is capable of? I bet he's got the fastest excavator in town too :D

he will probably say he can haul a 20,000# trailer and not have to worry about egt's at all  probably hauls hot shot in the off season  he said that the only reason he doesnt have twins is because of cost, what does a b1 cost?? never priced them, but probably could have made a twin setup for fairly cheap if he can make his own dv's.
