Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Recently signed up here, but I want to let you all know something that won't be a surprise to you. This forum is fantastic!! Just sold my my 2001 and yesterday, ordered the 2003 QC, HO, 487RE, short bed, SLT, Tow, and some other goodies. I was told it would take 6 - 8 weeks. This 2003 is fantastic. I was surprised at the differences between it and my 2001.
The dumbest thing I did with the 2001 is pull into the gas station in California, grab the green handled pump and dump about 10 gallons of unleaded into the truck.
After a tow to the dealership and about $300, Mr. Stupid left a day later and came home. I heard of people doing that and laughed. How could anyone be so dumb? Now I know. I guess we all have our stupid moments.
Anyway, Im back to being like a kid waiting for Christmas again, waiting for another new truck to arrive.
Sure have enjoyed this forum and the wealth of information.
