dynos are a spectator sport for now for me

I don't think I will have time to do anything but keep my head on straight. If others want to jump in and help you with the timing there would be no problem. Since you are at it you might accidentally bump into the fuel plate and unknowingly slip a few turns onto the aneroid screw. :-laf

jeepit,

Thanks for the call. I am too busy to be on the computer these days. Let me know either way.

Things are coming together nicely. I am looking forward to seeing all of you!

Here is what I have so far;

lccent will be working on an Trans-Go shift kit for his Allison with the help of dmaxalliTech. We will be taking the trans out the night before so there hopefully will be enough time to get it done. That takes up one lift, probably all day.

AkDually61 wants to get his truck scanned and speedometer recalibrated on his 02 Chevy. No sweat for Patrick.

PLaFrombois will be changing his brake fluid on his 99 Dodge.

jeepit will be doing an exhaust system on his 02 Dodge. That will be the other lift, but it should not be all day. Sounds like plenty of help there.

WaynesWorld would like to check / adjust the timing on his 96 Doge if he can get some help.

Extreme1 may be doing a pump swap, not sure, on a 94 Dodge.

That’s it. Plenty of room left for more. Come and join in, or just say hi.

Remember these are intended to be do-it-yourself projects using your own tools. We will be helping if we can, but with everything going on don’t expect it. Things will go smoother that way. There is no charge for the use of the shop. Please contact me if you have any questions. This will be a fun day!

I will be out of the shop for a few days starting on Wednesday. I will be back nice and tan just in time to get the shop clean and ready for inspection. :D

Mark

OK. See I need to bring my own tools for exhaust replacement. This is what I think I will need: sawzall, socket set with a very long extension, and some muscle. Anything else. Just want to be prepared :)

you might consider using Band Clamps over regular exhaust clamps, they are removable/reusable and seal very good, and you can make adjustements to your system as needed cause they don't dent the pipe, thus removable.

just my penny's worth.

Marv.

As a heads up!!!!!

You guys are going to have a nonmember come over, he wants to do a Dowel pin Tab repair, show him a good time, and help him, maybe he'll join.

Jim, I like your use of a secret code for the wife won't let me go. :-laf

Missed you at Hooters.

Paul

:-laf :-laf :-laf I wish thats all it was. This summer is going to suck.

Actually, we never did make it to LaCrosse that day.

If there's a space to do it, I need to replace the lift pump on my 99 24v CTD before it croaks completely. It's waiting on the shelf at Huckstorf.

Is it true that Fireman Dave bought an EZ on E-Bay, and wants help installing it on Saturday?

Paul

Nope - already installed. Way to let my secret out of the bag, Paul. I guess you know all about my new injectors too, eh?

I will be there! I might want to adjust some play in my steering box, if someone is willing to help.

Can I bring something to pass to eat? Deer sausage & cheese? Smoked fish?

Well guys, looks like I can't make this one. I get to go play with fire on Saturday. :D If the weather goes bad and we cancel our activity, then I might show up. Have a good one.

Dave

Dave, is that what it'll take for you to make it to one of our gatherings, fire? I suppose we could make you an honorary Fire Marshal for the day, and have you flip burgers for lunch. I've been told those grills can be a real fire hazard. :)

Play safe.

Mike, if you can bring some that would be great as well if anyone wants to bring a bag o chips to supplement the burgers and brats. I plan on bringin some chips and dip. Ill be there bright and early to help Mark with what ever he needs.

Dave

Bomb On! :)

You guys are awesome! Oo. Things are looking good for Saturday. We have been real busy and the shop is a mess. We will try to get it presentable tomorrow. I am looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday.
