We got the shop looking good today. Weather looks great. I don't think you will have a problem finding a brother of another variety to compare your tune with. Let it rip! :p

WI Huck,

Mark,

I had a great time with you guys today. Oo. Oo.

I appreciate the food, my compliments to the chef. :-laf

Can't wait to do it again.

Guys , nice to meet you all. Had a fun day of wrenching & bsing. :p

Thanks,

WAYNES WORLD

thanks mark i especially want to thank wayne and mr. shuart i learned alot and seen a few nice trucks in the process than :) ks again

Thanks to everyone who showed up. Everyone appeared to be having fun and some work got done too! I apologize to anyone who started a conversation with me and got side tracked with someone else. The turnout was greater than expected. Too bad the extracurricular activities got put to an end before it got really fun, but no one got hurt, or caught. With such good people around it is easy for us to open our shop to you. Remember us with your next internet purchase and maybe next time we can turn it into a dyno day. Oo. A new internet site is in development for us, and hopefully will be live in the next 30 to 60 days. Stay tuned…

Mark

PS Mike did get his stacks done around 5:30. They turned out nice and sound awesome!

Another successful wrenching party at Hucksdorfs

First of all I would like to thank Mark and his team at Hucksdorf, for there hospitality, willlingness to help and give technical knowledge where ever it was needed, it was outstanding. You wont find to many shops out there willing to open the doors to strangers like Mark and crew. Secondly thanks to Wayne and Johnny for the help on Randy(jeepit) exhaust install, we got er done and done right, I am sure Randy was smiling all the way home with the windows rolled down or at least trying to stick his head the passenger window :--) while driving just to hear the the beautiful music :) Thanks to Paul Lafrombis for the moral support during the exhaust install:) Thanks to Matt(Holeset) for the help on the CPS (crank/cam position sensor) on Steve Rabs truck, not many people could of done it better, removing and replacing the sensor without removing the VP44 or steering pump  and thanks to JohnRv4 for storytime :D you had me LMAO more than once. Glad to meet everyone, forgive me if I dont remember all the names, Walleye Mike I found someone who has done the over then center adjustment on the steering box, but I never got back to finding you, he lives in Franksville down near Racine, maybe next time if not sooner  If anyone ever needs help on a project shoot me a email. It will only get bigger and better every year. I think Franklin PD officer was just curious about all the big pipes ;) :--) and where the fire was from all the smoke :-laf

Jim Tisdale sorry you couldnt make it, is Craig Severs really your American Idol? :p

Errr...um, huh?

Sounds like you guys had a good time. I really wish I could have been there. Huckstorf's are really great to open their shop up like that. What is this the third or fourth time now? Maybe I can make the next one. Craig who? :p

Hey guys. Yep, Dave is correct, I WAS :D all the way home. Didn't get to go through tunnel downtown but I got some good exhaust tunes bouncing off the walls on the Marquette going home. Mark, thanks for the use of your shop and the good food. It's not everyday a shop would open up to everyone like you did Saturday. Dave, Wayne & Johnny, thanks again for all you help. I think we made good time on the project, although Matt seemed to think we were a little slow :D . Johnny, maybe next time we can do your exhaust ;) . Thanks to Matt for his all around good nature and comraderie :) and his demonstration in removing and replacingthe CPS on Steve's truck. Mike, it was a pleasure to meet you also. It was nice to put a face with everyone I have been conversing with the past few years. Look forward to the next time we get together. Randy

DJamrose,

It was my pleasure to help you with your truck. :)

Anytime you need something is the reason for TDR. :p

Mark,

I appreciated you opening up your shop for us to gather, do a little work, kick some tires, tell some lies & have a good time.

Look forward to another visit.

Dave,

It was a joy to work on Randy's truck. It always nice to see a job to its finish. I know Randy is still out riding around to this hour listening to the music we created. :p

Randy,

You are welcome for the assist in doing your truck. Believe it, I enjoyed myself a lot. :D

It is a real thrill when it turns out as good as it did.

Dave,

One more thing, If you have any more photos of me that I can show the bride, I would like to see them Oo.

Mark,

Just one more question. :-laf

Did mike put flex pipe in his exhaust or was it done with solid pipe all the way. ;)

Can we get a photo of the finished product ? :--)

WAYNES WORLD

Here you go Wayne

Here go wayne, still trying to figure out what you were doing, I think you just jumped in the picture at the right time :-laf :-laf

Dave,

There goes my bubble--I thought it was the Supervisor !! :-laf :-laf

Are you coming down to Minooka, Il. 4-23-05, for the dyno day ?

Wayne

Dyno

Wayne, I might make it, I close on my house on the 18th and the sellers are out on the 22nd so I will probably get started running Cat5 wire and putting up fencing but if they are not completely out the 22nd then hope to make it.

Dave :)

One more vote of thanks, to both Huckstorf Diesel for parts & shop space, and to all with good advice on lift pump replacement. Good folks all the way around.

Did the new CPS fix Steve's truck? I'd be curious to know if it did... for future reference.

I had a blast. For once, the WX held out too. As usual, it was great to see the old faces and meet some new ones.

Matt

Cps

Matt, I think it did, otherwise I would be getting a call or you would if he was stuck in Madison :-laf Thanks for the help! it just goes to show you that those fingers of your have more uses than just holding wingeys! :-laf :-laf
