Well, I emailed all of Nevada's senators and representatives. All 5 :-laf . I've heard that when they get a certain number of similar input, all of a sudden it's important. Anyway, maybe if you all wrote similar letters to your reps and senators the world would be a better place"Insert hearts and flowers here"



Here's what I wrote:

As I am sure you are aware, the cost of fuel is rising faster than the Space Shuttle at liftoff. While I realize that everything goes up in price over time, it seems absurd that diesel fuel has now topped the $3 mark in Reno. I urge you and Senator Reid to lead the charge to lower costs to the American consumer. Gasoline and diesel fuel run our economy, like it or not. While the Walmarts of the world can pass additional costs on to the consumer, I cannot. My family will spend less time visiting the wonderful sights that Nevada and the United States have to offer. I feel that there is no reason to not explore our own resources, be they in ANWR or the Gulf of Mexico, the California cost or downtown Washington, D. C. For the present, we should be pressuring President Fox and Mexico to open their reserves to us at a much lower cost than the Middle East countries. We continue to absorb many illegals from Mexico; it is time that we started to get something in return. Thank for your time.
