I see people buying lift kits.

Im looking for some drop spindles to lower my truck. I found out Im not the only one. Maybe my legs are too short. The rear is easy, but I dont want to cut the front coils Im afraid it will change the spring rate or bottum out.

96 2500 4x4 5spd wana be 6spd

Not only the spring rate but you have to deal with the shear weight of the front-end of these trucks. I wore out a complete front-end (all hard parts i. e. springs, ball joints ect. ) on my 92. Be sure that if you go to put lowering equipment on your truck that it is rated for the higher weight. Good Luck.

If you are trying to lower the front of your 4 x 4 I don't think you will get too far, literally. Take a look at the cllearance between the top of the diff housing and the engine and frame. It get tight to the trac bar.

buy a regular truck, keep the 4x4 for what it was intended for, why drop it to the ground???????????????? rather expensive toy to do this with.

just my penny's worth.
