WTB FACTORY Exhaust system for 2009 3500 Longbed

Looking to purchase this truck if I can find a complete used exhaust system for it. Gotta have it to pass my state Inspection. Does anyone have one or would you kindle tell me where to look?

You may be able to find a complete system on craigslist or other online classifieds. You may even talk to your local diesel performance shop to see if they know anyone who had deleted and wants to get rid of their OEM parts.



I believe that you were discussing putting the EGR system back on a truck you were considering a few weeks ago correct? Is this the same truck you were considering before or is this a different unit all together? I'm going to provide the same advice I did in your EGR thread. I would insist that the seller brings the deleted truck in question back to emissions compliance before you buy it. You don't want to be responsible for trying to reinstall those parts, and then have your inspection completed after you pay for the truck. There are simply too many unknowns that could occur that could result in a much greater cost to you in the long run.

Purchasing a previously deleted truck, in my opinion, is asking for a lot of troubles and a lot of money spent. A CHEAP deleted truck could be the most expensive truck you could buy. Just my $0.02

Thank you for your advice. I took it and last weekend, I found a nice BONE STOCK 2007 3500 Dually with the G56. It was literally untouched under the hood and the exhaust was original. I lucked out by seeing it the same day it was posted. I had to travel to Detroit to get it, but it was worth the trip.
