WTB: Getrag, whole or case only, or NV4500 swap

I have a getrag that has a bad case. If anyone has an extra case or a complete transmission let me know. 2wd or 4x4, doesn't matter. If anyone has an NV, let me know also. I know this is against forum rules, but if it could stay for a few days I'd really appreciate it. Thanks-Nick 630-283-0892

if ya get a nv4500 make sure you buy a split nut for 5th gear and lock that sucker on there really good



why is asking if anyone has parts against the rules?

It is kind of a shady area that may or may not need posted in the classifieds. They are a little more lenient with the 1stGen stuff, as the newest trucks are 15years old, and parts are getting harder to come by.

I hope Daniel is correct. There is the obsolete parts forum but who looks at that every day? I know that not nearly everyone looks at the classified on a regular basis and a heads up in the regular forum is certainly useful.



I would think/hope that if we basicly stick to PMs for followups on parts chases, we can get by with the post.
