XM radio antenna's?...

WHich are y'all using? I'd prefer the window mount, I already have 1 hole in my roof from my cell kit. Is the window antenna equal in quality? What are y'all using? Thanks.

I have the window mount, the type that sticks on the outside and has a piece that sticks on the inside.



My out side piece, antenna, fell off twice. The secont time I was out of town and it rained. So it sat in the water in the bed of my truck for a while. I had to buy a new one but Circuit City installed the second one at no labor charge.



It's getting colder now so it will be interesting to see how this one does wneh it starts icing up.

i'm using the ant. that looks like a mouse for a computer. its mounted on top of the roof back by the third brake light. the wires go through the third brake light and sealed by a little bead of sylicone. never had any leaks and great reception. out of sight, out of mind. ken

We've got one each, the mouse on Mom's ram and the Shark Fin on mine.



Can't tell any difference, but there is a light bar on mine, so I went with the fin.

It features a magnetic base and it stays attached all the time except when I go through a brush car wash. XM is really GREAT! I even listen to my unit at home and at work. I can listen to music that is never broadcast here in Nebraaska and no commercials.
