XM Radio,has anyone---

Has anyone used XM instead of Sirius radio? How does it look on
the dash-hook up-antena etc. The XM sound quality is better IMO. Any
input is apreciated.

I have Sirius installed in 2003 laramie.

The installation is as close to a factory

quality as you can get. . I have steering

wheel controls with the factory sat. ready

unit. I also have the Delphi XM boom box

and at this juncture I like the Delphi/XM

combo better . The XM unit displays

artist and song title. If you don't mind

seeing wires running from dash I would

get the Delphi ski-fi unit which is able

to interchange between home ,car,boat

etc.

I just installed an XM commander in the dash of my 2004. 5... I used a piece of ABS plastic and covered the cubby hole from behind the dash. The XM looks like it belongs there... my only problems with it now are that the factory radio isn't loud enough to make me happy when the windows are down, and it's a longer reach for my snuff can.

Give me a couple of weeks, my camera (And most of my other worldly possessions) was stolen out of my toolbox the other night... I am trying to scramble up some cash for the replacement soon. Last time I don't lock my box when I go in somewhere for dinner.
