XM Radio without the FM Modulator

I just swapped my XM box to feed into my factory radio with one of the interface boxes that allows an input where the CD changer would connect. Wow, what a difference.



The low frequency response is much better and the overall sound is incredible. If you have the option to connect your XM or any satellite radio using the RCA outputs, do it. The added expense is WELL worth it!!!

Don't have sat. radio, but have used the FM modulators before with a Discman. Those things are junk! I get better reception from an AM radio station that is 300mi. away than from those things.

I'm real happy with the FM mod. hooked to the antenna wire on my Pioneer. No problems with reception or sound. I got the 1. 5 din Pioneer just below the model with the RCA jacks so I can't do it that way. Craig

Which code radio do you have? The interface boxes I have seen so far will not work on the RBQ (6 disc cd) radio. If you have the RBQ radio who manufactured or supplied your interface.

I have the RAZ radio. It has the changer controls for an external changer. The interface was manufactured by PIE and purchased from logjam electronics.
