Ok I have my vin number on my 2022 3500 . Does anyone have the ram recall site info were I can plug it in and see if I’m on the recall. How else will I know. Too old to get under the truck any more. Truck runs great . Camper still on using def at what seems like a normal rate thanks

Thank You. Put my vin number in it was a bit hard to understand. So I called dealer Tailgate pins grid heater (disconnected ) these two things I knew about. Also 2 recalls pm sensor and something else emissions related . They have the parts etc schedules appointment for October 2 after truck camper is off and summer is over in Alaska So 4 recalls total

What else should I have them do as in any reprograms updates etc I’m not have any other issues. Truck is running great 18.5 k mostly hauling 3000 k truck camper

I might have them change oil and filter two fuel filters and drain and add 7-8 quarts of a/t fluid all my product. And maybe rotate the tires.Anything else while it’s there

Terry, I'd recommend that they go through your truck and make sure things are healthy on it just like you are thinking as it can't hurt.

You got a beautiful truck and camper setup.

Well thank you. I’m enjoying it. It hauls the camper much better than my old 99 2500 5.9 Handles the weight better stops better steers better. Lots of power . I like the in dash tire gauge. I used to have to take a gauge and check them all every every couple day. The back up camera is really nice also . Only thing is being a regular cab it only has a 28 fuel tank and at 13.5-15 miles per gallon my range is not as good as the old truck which had a bit bigger tank and got maybe 19-20 mpg. Oh and I love how quiet it is

I just got the Y43 recall notice in the mail, dealer has said they will order the part, I was surprised to read in the Recall notice that once sensor is installed the DPF will be warranted for 12 month from date of install would have thought it would be longer being it's an emission part...

I would think that they're saying at least 12 months. Which ever longer will apply, what's left on the factory or the new 12 months. Seems to be pretty standard operation. At least they're trying to fix an opps or making up for parts that weren't on the line at assembly. I think that it seems like you need to put 1500 - 2000 lbs in the bed to counter the truck wanting to do a regen!

Until two days ago my bed had just under 1100 lbs in it for 6+ months, I did this to help make the engine work a bit harder compared to it being drove empty... I only removed the weight because the shop requested I remove it before I get the truck serviced i.e. LOF tires rotated and recalls done... Now come to find out some stupid dealership over 400 miles away from me up in WA state used my VIN for recall for the grid relay on another truck, so now I have a big cluster on my hands  I hope the ram cares person who I got in touch with can help more then may local dealer could, who btw did a lot more for me then the FCA person at the FCA 800 number who cared less an gave me crap...

That’s infuriating about the recall, but should be fixable.

I’m honestly not sure 1,100 lbs of cargo will make much of a difference. The other day I towed a 14’ flatbed trailer with 1500lbs of hay on it and barely saw a difference below 75mph, and that has to be more drag than just payload in the bed.

Compared to my old 99 with bigger injectors and edge box turned all the way up it’s pretty clean 19 k miles mostly hauling the 3000 lbs slide in truck camper. But certainly not snowy white

Your exhaust looks pretty clean from here.

If you go in say 6" is it clean?

I think your more then fine with that set up.

Get in a enjoy the ride.
