Purchased a billet Y-pipe and cant exactly tell how to proceed. Do I remove the hoses from the factory plastic Y-pipe & use them for the billet one, or do I need to purchase different (longer) length hoses?
Thanks!

I used the same hoses as there was nothing wrong with mine.

Trampline man got it right. Just the way it is in his picture is the way it should be. No need for longer hoses or anything. Just make sure to drain some of the coolant out and keep your pets away.

Just my thoughts but if it has 2 y pipes I would change them both for piece of mind.

I'm not really up to date on any of the new trucks after the 10-12 so I'm only going off what I've read watched or seen on an old buddies truck.

Please pass along the source to purchase these billet Y pipes, I missed that somewhere!
thanks

XDP seems like a decent price, can get them on amazon either the weldless or welded black anodized aluminum with clamps . It appears they fit either the top or bottom ,same Y-pipe.

Which brand is that one you purchased ???
It’s from Pure Diesel Power. They offer this one which is made from a solid piece of billet and another that is welded. They highly recommended staying away from the welded one as they have had quite a few of them returned due to cracked welds.

Thanks, well that’s what we are replacing is a plastic y- pipe that has the potential to crack and leak, sure don’t want to replace with the same problem . Will stick to solid ones.
XDP has one that appears to be a sold piece also.

That really doesn't speak for the quality of the part and the welder.
Welding some pipes together is kindergarten to get it right.
