skied behind a four wheeler... I am a redneck now?

Star Wars 3

So I'm driving down I-44 in Missouri yesterday afternoon on my way to Norman, OK. I was on the phone with my dad when I spotted a 1997 Dodge Ram 3500 hauling campers down the highway... ...complete with TDR sticker and all.

Turns out the driver has been a member of TDR since January but hasn't posted on the board. I ran with him for 500 miles, talking on the CB, fortunately he had it on when I rang him up talking about the TDR.

Made for quite a pleasent trip. I hope he posts up here. He lives somewhere near Goshen, IN where all the campers come from. I've forgotten his name though... .

Tim. .

While I was running to Phoenix,AZ for my freight company I always ran across alot of TDR badged trucks on I-70,I-44 and I-40. Many were guys who towed campers and others were people on vacation either towing their 5vers or running truck alone. those who would jibber jabber on the CB I got to talk too those who didn't I waved and went on. The truck I run at work had a TDR sticker on each permit panel, left and right, and I would even have alot of people just ask about that when I was stopped. With 70,44 and 40 being the main route to the west from out here there are always alot of trucks to stumble across showing TDR stuff. What always amazed me was how many owners I would run across coimng back from the West on the Southern Route(I-10,I-20,I-30,I-40 and I-81). I'd see almost as many owners on I-10 and I-20 from Phoeniz,AZ to Pecos,TX as I would anywhere else. Even though I gave up sleeper running and only run a day cab now on a nightly turn(when I am cleared to go back to work that is)to Danbury,CT I still run my TDR graphics on my permit panels to see who I can stumble across... ... ... I'm constantly disappointed when I stop for fuel, see another transporter driving a Dodge and ask if they are TDR members. I've given out dozens of flyers with the TDR website and my member number, but have yet to have my name published as a subscription referral, so I was pleasantly surprised when in Billings, MT I ran into not only a TDR member but a member of the RV Net Forum where I hang out on occasion. The two conversations set me back a couple hours, but it was sure nice to talk to them. Maybe if I get the larger TDR stickers????????????
