I'm soon to be in the market for new tires. My 2k 2500 is still running the stock 265/75R16's on the aluminum wheels. I'd like to get a bigger tire to fill the wheel well a bit. What's the biggest tire I can get safely on my rims without any rubbing? I need all terrain/street, no super swampers for this puppy! ;) I think I would be fine with load-range D tires, and most of my driving is street with only very occasional snow.

Any and all recommendations welcome, and appreciated.

These trucks should come stock with 285's, they fit the truck better and there are many brands, sizes and load ranges availible. I believe 295's will fit without any rubbing, 305/70's fit but may rub on the trailing arms/mud flaps.

Just my . 02:)

My old Ram had the BFG AT KO's, thought they were a very good all-around and they worked well in the snow and mud. I had 265's in a load range D and they were good for 3042 lbs/tire (same as my 245's load range E).

Pricey (i think about $165/tire) but a very good tire. If I could get a 235/80/17 for my new dually, I would.
