What you're seeing is the reflection of my foot and aggregate in the rear quarter panel of my truck. You can see the actual ground just below the tailpipe) the sliver part you see protruding in the middle of the pic.

Now THAT is some good wax! :D

Dang, Andy, that looks incredible. My green don't come out that good with Zaino. I started with a Dawn wash to strip everything off, clay bar treatment, then 3m swirl mark remover, then the Zaino's. Smooth as a babys butt, but no shine like yours. What did you do to get that?

Oh, and how do you keep that exhaust looking like that?

That 91 of Gary's was when they used real paint on real steel. Brush or bump those vintage rigs and they did not scratch or dent. George

I use a piece of #0000 steel wool. Just rub on the whole tailpipe for a while, and it looks nice and polished. I'm sure at some point, I will ruin the aluminized coating and then I'll HAVE to get a real exhaust. But till then, I like the results I get from the steel wool. :)

Regarding the process, I washed with Dawn, clayed, then used a coat of Z5. I left it on all night, the pic was taken shortly after removing that 24 hours later. Since then, I've layed a coat of Z6, another of Z5. another Z6, and now it's got a coat of Z2. I'll take it off tomorrow, and will apply a final coat using ZFX. It's been garaged since Friday. Poor girl is grill-less... I'm waiting on my chrome inserts that I got in trade for my honeycomb ones. I'll leave it garaged until the grill gets here Wednsday.

Thanks!

I was a big fan of M's Gold Class until I started using this. The zaino seems to take care of some problems that the meguires wouldn't. Of course, it also highlights how bad the paitjob on my hood is (it was recently repainted).

OK, I have a quick question, where can I find this Zaino? I've read about it both here and at the Ford site. Sounds and looks like some good stuff.

... and then it was off to the back pasture to pull the stumps and haul the rocks out. :D

Looks great, there's nothing better than a freshly cleaned and waxed truck. I've had mine since Dec and still haven't freed up enough time to do it. And it also seems to rain every day here in NJ.
