If you started to full-time following retirement,

How many years have you been full-timing?

How many more years do you expect to.full-time?

Thanks!

I'm a part time full timer, about 7 months in an RV and 5 months in our house annually. Been doing it since I retired at the beginning of 1990. Almost 26 years now and still going strong.

I did retire right after my 54th birthday so I had a head start on most people.

Don't wait till retirement to go RVing! My folks always wanted to do this after they retired and their retirement health conditions won't let them. At least they toured the country while they were young.

We have been full timing for 4 years now. As for how long I do not have a clue. We are enjoying the life style. We would like to do it until health, old age or what ever forces us to stop. The area where we live requires a class one license (CDL) to haul a trailer over approximately 9000 lbs. We were part timing before this until our place sold.

We have been full timing since Oct 2012. Currently we are Campground Hosting for the Corp. of Engineers in Tennessee. This job ends in 2 weeks and we will be off to travel and see our kids & Grandkids for the winter. We plan on continuing to do this life style for as long as we both can, which we hope is many years to come!!

Wishing everyone many happy miles and adventures!

2 years and 3 months.

Based on our ages and health, we're hope to continue this lifestyle another 15+ years, but even 20+ years won't be out of the question. We absolutely love the freedom of being full-time RV'ers.

Best regards,

John L.

Yep, I got a head start on retirement too on June 1, 1993. I was age 52. My wife and I have RV traveled extensively with four Ram trucks, two fifth wheels, and three truck campers being gone from home as much as four weeks at the time until the last few years, but no full time RVing.
