[Stroke This 24V]

Hot Dog I finally got The DD3's and Edge Comp intalled this afternoon. What a Ride it was. I would have posted earlier but I have been cleaning out the Exhaust Pipe for what the Dodge left of the PStroke. My buddy has his bomed to the max and he showed up after the Edge and during the injector install. He tole me after I get the injector in he could still smoke my tail. There was one thing that slipped my mind in that I had the Comp too!!! HE HE HE!!! Well needless to say He went through the K&N and out the 5"!!!

Hey SBurton,

I am planning on putting a PE COMP box on my truck on the 28th or 29th of September. How was the install??

Anything to point out?

I haven't even Seen a PE COMP box, only on the internet, and some personal photo's but was wanting to know what level of mechanical, and electrical degrees were needed for the box to work right.

ANy special tools needed? I assume you need Black/Electrical Tape, Wire Strippers, and some needle nose pliers. ANything else?

Piece of cake. Hardest part will be getting at the wire you have to tap. Its a bit cramped. The rest is a simple ground, simple power wire, map sensor, and data plug. The first time should take 45 mins to an hour, someone who knows what they are doing under 30 mins.

While my injectors are going in, and theintake is off, it should be a little easier to tap the wire that needs tapped.

I put my PE Comp in a few weeks ago. It was not hard at all. I was a bit timid at first but now I feel very good. O ya can u say haul a$$ now?

Now your thinking along the right direction. I was going to mention that but wanted to wait a lil bit and have ya think about it Its the wire closest to the block on the "top". It'll take ya a minute to find it. Even with the intake off its a bit cramped, jsut be patient. Put the ground on one of the intake manifold bolts. Power wire goes into the cab, and the map sensor plugs in behind the fuel filter, and the data plug should he a grey triangle thingy hanging down by your PS pump.

Follow the directions enclosed in the Edge box. For once someone has given the right directions to put something together. Pleases don't tell no one that they are great directions cause I think it is against some sort of laww to send all that you need and good directions!!!LOL

Scott, the Piers modified HX-35 will make for quicker spoolup, plus lower EGT's some. With DD3's and the Comp, EGT's can get high quick.

You might even consider a 14cm housing, to help lower EGT's more.

SBurton... . I see that you have the 5in exhaust on your truck... How does the 5 in exhaust fit past the spare tire??? (I see U have a 4x4 so it should have a 265 spare. ) Or do you have it routed a different way?? Thanks

The 5 fits into the stock location and it is a very nice fit. I ordered it from Diesel Pro It was $730. 00 all together. The install took about an hour with a lift.
