Optimas

After five years of good service with my Mopar stock batteries,I opted to buy the Red Top Optimas. They've worked out super and were only $99 apiece at the time@Costco. I don't think I'd spring for $160+ now.

Wow they are expensive now!

I was paying $140 for Blue and Yellow tops and $100 for Red last time I bought some batteries.

Costco still has red tops for $119, I got my red tops at Pep Boys, they are significantly bigger than the ones at Costco. They have a lot more cranking power, that's why they were $170 each. Same size as the yellow tops at Costco, same price too.

Are these a direct replacement in our current battery space and holders? I too need new one's, my oms are now 7 yrs old. time to replace.

Yellow optimas are deep cycle, reds are for normal starting apps. Just fyi.

CaseIH dealers were selling optimas, probly still are.

Looks like those things are gettin' expensive. Glad mine are still running strong!
