2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission yellowing fog light lens's

any one else's fog light lenses yellowing?.

i tried cleaning them but it seems like it's a coating on the outside coming off. i'm going to take it in to be replaced under warantee. also, any recommendationd on brighter fog light bulb's? thanks..... james

No mine do it every so often. I let this one place wash & detail my truck one time and they had some compound they used with a buffer to remove the haze from my headlight lens. I need to find out what it was and see if its available to the public. However I run blue head lights so I have a little bit better visability then people running stock style lights.

10 bucks it's either Micro Grain or Finesse-It both of which are common detailer products from 3M.



James the lenses are at their limits bulb wattage wise and anything higher will result in a distorted lens. HOWEVER Hella makes a set of 110 watt units that are completly abnormal and many have been doing the swap.



Do a simple search with HELLA Fog Light and see what comes up.
