After reading countless threads on countless forums, Im still on the fence about putting the deeper rack plug in my 887 pump.
Some threads say it makes a great difference, others say EGTs go up through the roof at the higher RPMs. All I want is 450-500hp as this truck will be a tow rig and play thing once in a while. Truck will have twins soon so airflow should be adequate but I would rather have my EGTs ice cold and deal with a little less horsepower. The only thing done to the pump is a 4k GSK and #100 plate.
Some people report better results on 160-180 pumps, but say its not worth it on the 215 pumps. Just looking for input from the knowledgable guys here. Thanks.
