I think I am going to upgrade my fuel pump.

I could either get a Holley Blue or other fuel pump, or get a FASS system.

My question about the FASS is, if you use the 3 micron filter, how often do you have to change it? and do you ever need to change the stock filter (if you kept it in the circuit) since it is after the fass filter, the fuel that gets to it should be clean already...

thanks

I plan on going to the FASS system next year, mainly for reliability but I'm also hoping for a small boost in fuel mileage. I've read that pumps like those made by Carter and Holley are only good for about 30K miles at best and thier noisy too.

The FASS does away with the factory pump/filter/piping... it replaces everything from the tank to the injection pump.

The makers of the FASS also make a pump kit that is basically a replacement (alternative) to the factory LP... you would reuse everything from the filter to the injection pump... you would change filters on the recommended schedule.

As for the 3micron... I am going to be using them also... I also would like to know what everyone else is doing, but I'll probably go 10k of the 3 micron and 20k on the separator if nobody chimes in.
