yet another hard start on 06 thread.

I searched and read a ton and I hope it's not injectors that all my reading points to.



My truck has the intermittent hard start that came about sometime after I installed the FASS (no filters). So far I've changed the fuel filter, installed a checkvalve post fass pump and checked for leaks. Still have the problem. I am starting to wonder if I have an injector problem but @ 12k miles I sure hope I don't. I didn't want to take it to the dealer because I don't want to deal with them voiding my warrenty once they see the Fass all hooked up so this is my last ditch effort for suggestions prior to purchasing some new sticks. I have the R49 TST for reference as well. Truck runs good once started.

There is a TSB for this issue and it is a simple reflash to the ECM. My 06 does the same thing, cranks for about 1-2 seconds before it fires about 2-3 X per week. Some have had the flash with good results, others have seen no change. Personally, I really don't mind because I know it's going to do it once in a while. If I get a chance or a reason I will take it in and have the flash done...
