Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Yet enother "can I lower the bed" thread...

I'm looking at a 2001 3500 4wd that sits too high for my 5th wheels. Anyone fingured a way to lower the bed? I dont want to pay $900 for a Dodge kit that only lowers it it 1. 5".

My 2WD with camper package had 1" spacer blocks between the bottom spring

and axle which I took out. Only lowered it about 1. 5" at bumper, but it was free!

Even on a level pad, it took a huge stack of blocks under the front wheels to level

my slide in - I can't stand sleeping with my head downhill!
