New to me 3500 Whats the best DEF/urea for the 2013's, does it even matter??? Don't like the cap less diesel fuel tank! says to rinse the DEF up when/if it spills? little tuff when both tank spouts are butt up next to each other. diesel spouts just waiting for something to go down into the tank. Also miss the folding platform under back seat, used to be metal, great!! then plastic, not bad! now nothing? Wow!! to girly without it methinks!! I built a nice 3/4" wood platform, done!! And that flat platform top of the tailgate!!! what a collector of water, rain and dirt. Every time i reach in there I'm cleaning or drying it with my underarm shirt!! not to mention hosing yourself when opening the gate! Oh well progress. My wife says I'm retiring?! get a short bed, i say Yes Ma'am" Big mistake, oh well maybe it is time Other than having a Cadillac on steroids it's a total monster compared to my old 09!!!

Totaly agree on the tailgate. The designers must live where it never rains. Everytime you open it after rain you get a bath.

I agree with the filler-DEF comment, I fixed the tailgate issue by installing a flatbed. I dont think that there is any diffrence in DEFs on the market.

I use DEF that meets the ISO standard. I made a cap for the fuel fill out of a 1. 5" ABS plumbing cap, and use a funnel for DEF unless I get Blue DEF from Peak which has a hose and small nozzle that fits into the DEF fill neck.
