I was wondering if anyone has these tires and what they think of them. I saw them in the Summit catalog and they look like they have a pretty good tread design. I like the BFG AT's alot, just not the price. I know you get what you pay for, just looking for alternatives.

Well, keep in mind that tires sold in the US are also made to US DOT specs, and that you also pay for the brand name. Up here in Anchorage you pay quite a bit for the BFG and Goodyear brand names.

I'd look at the sidewall and check out how many sidewall and tread belts the Yokohamas have, and compare that to the BFG. There may also be a "treadwear rating" on the tire as well--something in the 400 to 600 range, and you may want to compare that as well.

For what it's worth, I've had Yokohama tires before and they were pretty good. Granted, they were 245/50ZR14 and mounted on my 5. 0L HO Mercury Capri. I never had any flats, and they handled 150MPH just fine. I have no experience with their light truck tires though.

I ran the Geolanders last year, I got about 35,000miles out of the set. They were a decent tire, but this year I went with the Goodyear Wrangler MTR. They give me much better traction on the pulling track. When I buy again, it will be the Wrangler, but I'm looking for traction as well as decent road mileage.

My 2¢..... Well, I've racked up 5,000 miles on my Yokohama TY303s, which have an agressive AT tread specifically to deal with snow/mud conditions. The only difference is that they're 19. 5 inch tires mounted on Rickson rims and, to date I have ZERO complaints and they're like brand new, plus I'm expecting BIG mileage from them, minimum 100k++ from all six:D:D.
