Brake controller pig tail

elementary trailer brake wiring question...

We are going to have a free week in February and thought we would spend 3-4 or so days of it in Yosemite. Anyone ever been there in the winter? Just wondered what to expect and if there was anything in particular you would recommend. Plan to do some snowshoeing and general sightseeing.

It looks like Upper Pines in the only campground open all winter, but the shuttle bus seems to run so there must be a fair amount of people that visit in the winter.

We will take the 97 with the Sunlite pop-up slide in (and its new dual deep cycle battery setup) Will bring a set of chains just in case, but any other thoughts on what to do to prep the truck or camper for this trip?

Thanks,

-Vic

Plan on doing some Ice Skating! Big rink with roaring fire to warm you up, right under glacier point (?). I think it's the best time to visit, but we usually stay in Wawona, up on the hill.

It is a great time to visit-beautiful place. However, all the roads that go over the passes at high altitude are closed-Tioga is one of them, and you walk through the snow to see any of the "big" trees-but the crowds are like 10% what they are in the summer-well worth it!

as long as your not going on a weekend. . no crowds at all. . nada. . zelch. .

use hwy 88 to come over... . [88 to 49 to 120] 88 is open 99. 5 % of the time except during heavy storm... .

hows the heater working as you'll run it most of the time in the camper. . where is your water tank. . might need some insulation there. . make sure and fill propane in your area or a larger town v/s the one place there [very pricey there]

was in your area this weekend . . my Son lives over by the quary [new tract]

Just make sure when you come over 88 that it isn't right after a heavy snow fall. There is a section right by Kirkwood that will be shut down for avalanche control and snow removal.
