You all think an x-monitor would work on a...

Hey guys -



Kind of a strange question here...



Anyway - I race a Toyota Supra and we have very, very few gauges that read over 30psi and none that read over 30psi AND have a peak hold!



Question is - can the "universal" monitor work with my Supra to at least monitor Boost and EGT's?, any thing else (transmission temp) is just bonus. I can't see why boost or EGT probe would be vehicle specific - but if anyone has any input, I would appreciate it!



I'd really love to be able to measure boost > 30psi and have memory feature.

A buddy of mine uses DEFi Guages in his STi and man I love those guages! They have 5 minutes of recording , peak high and low valu recall and Boost goes to 2 bar (Well you remember posting in The Defi thread )



Well wouldn't ya know it I believe they are going to release a 3 bar guage and a PSI guage for us metricly challenged people too. Chris got an email from the tech guy in Japan and I will talk to him tonite and find out if he still has a copy of that mail.

the x-moniter should work just fine... and you can get the fuel pressure version if you like to moniter that instead of trans temp

What about SPA, have you looked into their dual gauges. They have peak memory as well as many other features including external triggers.

ToolMan - that is GREAT news! Can't believe I hadn't heard yet... a 3 bar / 45psi Defi gauge would be great - keep me posted: -- email address removed --



Rubberneck - actually, I did just stumble on the SPA gauges... I'm gonna do some research there too, see how much $$ they are.
