The Spirit of Vincennes Rendezvous is a festival celebrating the Revolutionary War victory at Vincennes by George Rogers Clark and his Longknives. This battle gained the Northwest territory from the British. Re-enactments of battles, food, entertainment from the time period, shops, etc. Great thing for a family or period enthusiasts. The George Rogers Clark National Historical Park is part of the grounds for the festival and many other historical sites are nearby.

I read all about the March to Vincennes

In my Indiana History book back in 1971 or 72. But I have never been to the site. . Sounds like a good reason for a road trip in May!
