just found out that our local ford dealer's service manager's father bought my 96 3500 that we traded for our 2001. 5 somehow he found out that it was my old truck, and called me at the house last night to find out "what the h. . l we did to it to make it pull like that" he said that he and his sons pull racecars to local tracks and they have always had psds. my old sweet baby is putting all of those new fancy psds to shame. i had to smile to myself when i found out my beast was happy and going to have a good long life in retirement.

Tell me, please, what did you have in your 96 when you traded it in? It must not have been stock for the Ford guy to make a comment like that.

fuel turned up the old fashioned way, with different injectors,adjusting the fuel pump and the turbo wastegate. we have a couple of psds and i could always run with them before bombing, but after there was no comparison, now weve bombed the fords also.

Folks,

I was actualy able to find the name, address, etc, of the prev-owner of my truck when I purchased it. I requested to see the service docs on the truck before the purchase, they had no problems allowing me to look them over.
