I'm going to close this thread as it does not do anyone any good at all by keeping it open.
You've had your chance to vent, and out of respect I'll leave it on the boards, but not before voicing the TDR's side of the issue.
First off, the reason Wade (Diesel Power) has had his website access suspended for 30 days is NOT strictly due to this one issue---a member only receives the 30 day suspension by receiving "Strike 2", which is clearly defined in the
TDR Site Guidelines. We are pretty leinient with 'punishment' around here and please understand we only resort to issuing strikes if the situation warrants it as the only option to squelch the behavior.
Secondly, Wade was not the only party affected or "punished" if you will. However, each member is entitled to the "3 Strikes You're Out" policy--Website Guideline 3. 0 if you're following along in the handbook--and, as such, we have to go in order. First offense, polite warning... . second offense, probably another polite warning... . third offense, strike 1... . fourth offense, strike 2... . and so on & so on. The 'gory details' of other members will not be discussed here, but rest easy knowing everybody who deserved their knuckles whacked got it--the severity of the whacking is in direct correlation to how big their "naughty file" is. Clear as mud?
**EDIT TO CLARIFY**
(The policy is that the first warning equals strike one. That policy was not enforced to the letter in the past, and still is not, depending on the situation. In a case of unproductive forum conflict, ie, member(s) versus member(s) arguments that can span multiple threads, the policy is enforced zero tolerance per the TDR administration. Hope this clarifies the warnings vs. strikes issue I talked about in the above paragraph. )
If you have any further questions, comments, or need my address to send a severed horse's head, feel free to PM me.
Lastly, I would like to make a public apology to the members for those threads staying unedited long enough for the eruptions to occur. We do our best, but with millions of posts, thousands new every week, and only a dozen or so moderators, we can't catch everything right away... . this time we obviously missed it.

We rely heavily (perhaps too heavily? Send me your comments please!) on the member base to police themselves, and play 'watch dog' if you will, to notify us of situations before they get out of control. So please, if you see something you think is fishy, PM all of us, someone will get to it ASAP. Thanks in advance!
Cheers!
