The mounts are good and stout Johnny Spiva builds good parts and is great to deal with . I have the first V8 pick up poly mount .

Infact he came to my place and installed them on my truck . I have the poly transmission mounts on my gen 1 truck works great unlike the cheap rubber stuff.

I will most definetly need a set of the motor mounts and will order a set of the transfer mounts by Monday. I had one of his adjustable booble struts on my '91 Daytona, it made a big difference in the way it hooked up.

I got mine from Summit over a year ago. They have them you just have to call poly performance and get the part # ( i cant remember it off hand ) and give that to the guys at Summit and they will send them right to your door. Ive ordered 2 or 3 sets and they always had them in stock. Thier computer just lists them as a universal type mount instead of the right application.

I called poly pro about getting some made way back before I knew they even made them and they said why dont you just order them from summit. lol

yea id love to get some #'s for them. engine and trans.

question: can you crack a poly mount by over tightening the bolts? do they have any give to them or are they rather brittle? ive used them in suspension lifts but never as mounts.....

I have a gm transmission so that was no problem.

Ill see if I can find a part # for the motor mounts.

I actually found them once on summits web page listed as a universal mount

yea i found some universals on summits site to. no telling what they actually will fit tho, cause they had no picture. i just said dodge polyurethane transmision mount.

DVolk, those transfer case mounts listed in your link, are they ok to use with the cummins? its not mentioned in the applications, it just says heavyduty, ramcharges and most all 4x4s.

reason i ask is becuase the motor mounts on the same site say specifically not for the cummins. if the transfer case mounts are good then, im gonna get a set for sure.

where can we get poly motor mounts that work for our truck? has anyone figured out if the are available through Summit???

thats right... . I talked to Johnny Spiva specifically about them.

If you look on the left hand side of the page it shows a list of what they will fit, and under the dodge listing, it says "except with Cummins Diesel".

Its a shame, but if anyone finds poly engine mounts else where PLEASE post the link.

Wait, 92 and older? I'd assume that would work out to be 93 and older, right? I don't think theres a difference. Anyway, will there be a set that fits the auto, cuz my mounts are pretty bad, the TC wobbles a lot when you take off slow. I'd probably just replace the whole deal with poly mounts if I can find them.

yea 92-93, all the same thing. Start with the TC mounts, and get em real good and tight when you put it back together. all i have to say is, GET THE POLY MOUNTS... ive replaced my TC mounts with dodge factory mounts. $40 later my truck was perfect for about 30 minutes. got worse and worse. now its worse than ever and the bolts are as tight as they physically can be. the factory rubber is like chewing gum. im ready for a good set of poly. ill do those, then see how the drive line acts. if i still have and slop im going to take some time looking for some poly engine mounts.
