well glenn, glad you asked. nobody has been interested in how I FEEL. :D lessee, i've had the festoons. also mild patsylals. oh yeah, and my mocus ain't been working so good lately. i sure hope it ain't terminal. ;)

I had gas trucks and liked them. Now I have friends that say they want one. I ask them, "Why? they don't carry much, they can't pull worth a flip, get crappy mileage, and the resale bites. "

I honestly see a half ton and think-- I have no use for that light weight vehicle.

I like my attitude problem;):D

I had a gas truck once. The brakes wouldn't brake, the generator wouldn't gen, water pump wouldn't pump and the pistons wouldn't ... ... ..... work either. :D

My name is Mike and I too am a dieselholic! I had a diesel truck (just sold it and looking for another), have a diesel tractor, looking for a diesel garden tractor, work for at a factory that builds diesel engines, get to be around them all day long..... my motto is "Spark Plugs are just a crutch";)

dieselholic???

Don't know if I have "it" or not, the other night after returning from Anchorage, AK I could not sleep, was in bed at home, went out and started the cummins and went right to sleep... .

Sooo sooothing...

holic

naw, just becuz my trouser coughs smell like diesel exhaust fumes, and my sweat smells like #2 don't mean any thing. mentioned getting a 5" pipe the other day, and my wife smiled for the first time in weeks. her face really fell when i explained i meant a 5" exhaust for the goat. TDR mag and DC service manual are my reading choices. Naw, none of that means anything. ;)

That's what happens when you put #2 in a gasser:p

#2 in a gasser..........

prolly does less harm than a load of 87 octane in a diesel... . :(

edit! hey, this is #999. gotta find something else dumb and inane to post this afternoon:D :D :D :D

You know when your a DIESEL AHOLIC when ... ... . this is on your dresser and its one splash for your chest one sip for your breath:D :D

Yes I did it

Drove by a fuel stop today and slowed down and took a deep breath and soaked up all the diesel fumes. :D Man is that some good stuff. Oo.

Gotta Go and inject myself with some more diesel. :p

Hi, I'm Scott and I am a dieselholic. It's been 6 hours since I last started the big rig and I already miss it. I change my Rotella T every 3000 miles, not for the engine, but for me and the sweet vapor trail. I have re-routed my crankcase breather to a direct vent system, now I get all of the smell and oily mist inside the cab, where it belongs.

Here's a link on how to become a BOMBaholic as well, scroll down for my 12 step program ;)

From age 6

From the moment I steped off the schoolbus in the spring I did not crave food, television nor did I do my homework. All I wanted was to walk behind my neighbors DIESEL tractor. These walks would last most of the day. Loved to walk in the freshly plowed dirt.

At that young age I could not understand why this owner of such a fine smelling machine would not let me walk behind the bush-hog.

One of my most depressing moments in life was to step off the school-bus and see the DIESEL tractor going into the barn.

This is a true story:so help me Rudolph

You might be a dieselholic

You are a dieselholic if you own a Powerstroke or a Duramax and you visit a website that you don't own the same truck or brand of truck. I like to see what my competition is up to. Maybe one day I'll ask questions as a Cummins owner. Joe Oo.

Big Saint

I like that 12 step program, kinda sounds like what Jim Fuller did with his 2002. I got one too, 6 months ago I bought this truck and didn't even know there was a 12V and a 24V or TDR not to mention TST, Piers or DTT. The only reason I don't have Injectors and an HX-40 is money, but there comingOo.

Jim, you have the truck I would own if I could afford two ( and I cannot). A '98 shortbed 12 valver. Your HP possiblities are almost endless. This would be my 'drag truck'.

When I think about all of the money I would have saved if I never found the TDR ????? Then again, you only go around once, reminds me of a great bumper sticker I just received in my latest filter shipment from Geno's " Life is too short to drive a ugly truck". Gotta love it, put it on my locker at work.

Traction

I will look ito the locker deal a bit more, it wasn't much of a problem with the #8 plate, but the #4 fuels so much on the bottom it's bad about downshifting and spining through 2nd into 3rd and I want to dyno then try out the local track this year. $1500. 00 would make it run plenty good
