... but I just tanked up at my usual Sunoco station. These are the prices:



87 - $2. 579

89 - $2. 679

93 - $2. 759

94 - $2. 799

diesel - <B>$2. 689</b>



Needless to say I was not alone at the diesel pumps, quite a few semis were there topping off. Most stations of this size in the area have 10 gas pumps and 2 diesel... this station is 6 and 6.



I'm not saying those of you paying over $3. 00 are getting jobbed - there are plenty of reasons for local proce fluctuations. But, the most I have paid for diesel this year at this station was $2. 799, and that was right after Katrina hit. It's entirely possible that they're subsidizing diesel by keeping gasoline a few cents higher, knowing they do the volume to support such a move.



Normally, I would keep the location to myself, but I'll give this one up so some of you can save a few bucks. It's on US45 westbound in Palisades Park NJ, just west of Broad Ave/US 1-9, just a few miles west of the GW Bridge, and a long spit east of the I-95/US 46 interchange in Ridgefield.

Diesel just got "cheap" at the local store that is usually highest in my area. Now $2. 99! Kerosene is $2. 29 at another store, so they continue to get my business!

i just filled up today, and i got it for $0. 979, but if i would have held off for 30 min, i could have got it for $0. 969... oh well, it only works out to being $1. 00 more for the amount i put in. that is in canadian funds, and that more or less works out to ±$3. 12 us funds per us gallon...

This past Friday morning $3. 539 for diesel at a certain place I "used" to frequent. Just down the road at TA it was $3. 099 same day. Now it is $2. 99 at the TA. I haven't checked the other place, but the TA had the auto pumps blocked off when we went by.

Diesel just dropped to $2. 999 here in Jacksonville, AL. Too bad I filled up this weekend at $3. 199. Hopefully it will continue to drop!

Just got back from Vegas for the weekend. (NHRA!!!) Diesel in St. George is 3. 07 But in Vegas and Provo its 3. 23?????? Passed a 2nd Gen on the way home, had the back end FULL of amsoil product. Couldn't have been you though, it was a V-10

I see Flying J diesel prices down near Sacramento took an overnight drop from $3. 05 or so down to $2. 85...



Ain't it a crime just to be grateful to see fuel BELOW $3 a gallon...



NO, I don't really think corporate conscience, or rapidly shifting refinery output had NEARLY as much to do with the rapid and significant reductions as outcry and public pressure created...

Ya, Diesel prices in Vegas are always higher than anywhere between here and Vegas. Roght now the Diesel in the Roy area is $3. 25 to $3. 43, but I just filled in Layton at the Conoco on Antelope Drive for $3. 17!

I picked up 100 gals of diesel Oct. 25 and it was $3. 15/gal at the fuel distributor. Diesel is selling for $3. 29 to $3. 39 at the various gas stations around here. The red fuel, picked up 75 gals, was $2. 56/gal. How come diesel is suddenly much more expensive than gasoline? It was cheaper than regular gas just 3 weeks ago.
