Competition Young Fletcher dominates HS drags!

17 YO Will Fletcher has helped me several times with my truck, including putting my new stack in Tuesday. Since he's shown to be such a responsible person (he does a lot of the work on Senior Mr. Fletcher's truck) I offered to let him drive my truck at the high school drags tonight at Pacific Raceways.

Well, little did I know what he had in store. I watched my Pavement Princess thunder down the track round after round, win after win!! He went a total of 8 rounds to take the "King of the Track" (out of about 250 cars), winning a cell phone and big trophy, and putting Stanwood as winners for the first time! It seems it's also the first time a diesel has won this event...

This is Will's FIRST TIME RACING, and he fender raced every round , on the brakes through the traps. He beat some well known racers, and even a convertible Porsche in the semi's. After each round, the track staff would go to the truck to shake his hand, and told me how impressed they were with his natural talent.

I took some pics and will try to get them up Thursday.

Thanks once again to DTT for making a transmission that can go 14 hard rounds in one night, including hot lapping toward the end.

I'm now running it as much as 4 times a week at the track plus daily driving.

Hey Matt, just get a long enough stack to go all the way through the top! It would act as a stove-pipe for keeping it warm!

BTW, I LOVE it, and all the crowds and staff at all the tracks love it too!!
