5" resonator

JMoglia,

I found a company that has started making a 5" resonator it is only about 10" or 12" long. I am waiting for the specs. Although the 3" should add little backpressure/restriction the 5" should work better and sound different. If interested "E" me and I will send info when I recieve it.

I have a 4" stainless tip on my 4" exhaust. Does anybody have a 4"-5" stainless tip that looks really good, and if so, do you have a pic of it?

4" Exhaust

Rob, glad you liked the exhaust but I don't have access to a digital camera, the truck is running great. I don't know where your dad lives, but I got my clockspring replaced at Enumclaw Dodge, they did a good job and it took about an hour and a half.

Kodiak it a Vortec made by Cherry Bomb. Its 3 inch straight through and sounds very good. A whole hell of a lot cheaper than the 4 inchers and I think it sounds better. Now that does NOT mean that I'm knocking the 4 inchers, they sound good too. Just ask John_P he likes it so much he is trying to see if the company will make him one in 4 inch... ... ..... Pete

Sounds like what I want to do. Is there and on line site that has them? How much? What's the Part #? Mo info, Mo info, Mo info!

turn down

The problem i have with the turn down, is where I park. I back in, and have created a nice dirt spot in the grass where the pipe points directly down on it.

So I angled the turn down back at a 45. The grass is growing back, but now it points directly at the trailer.

So I too was thinking of going to the 5" Genos monstor tip.

Rob-- So you think having it come straight out the side will still get on the trailer?

I was hoping to save the grass and the trailer and sacrifice the guy beside me.

I've got the Geno's Monster Tip, and it is one big, beautiful piece of hardware! I was afraid that it would be overwhelming, but it looks perfect. I had to cut a tad off the exhaust pipe to make it the right length, but now it pokes out just a bit longer than stock.

One thought though: it is chromed, so those of you in the "winter-salt states" of the north might be better off with the 4" stainless.

Always like to put this one "out here"...

4"downpipe from BD--4" aluminzed steel tubing under cab--1 4"45*elbow, a 4x5" reducer and a 5"x18 stainless outlet, "baloney cut" ----I'm one of the small % that answered "4 inch/no muffler"
