New Little Giant Ladder - Comments

If my chew turns a little dry I take like a teaspoon of water and add a little sugar to it, maybe say a little pinch. Put it in the pouch of chew and shake it up and squeeze it around. Seems to help out, the only reason I put sugar in the water is it seems to revive some of the lost, dried out gone flavor.

For me;

Dip; Skoal Citrus Long Cut or Skoal Mint Long Cut

Chew; Trophy or Redman Select

Anybody getting into Swedish snus ? Been doing it a couple weeks now and so far it rocks. No spit. High nicotine content, lasts a long time. After 40 years, I'm just about ready to let the cigarettes go.

Redman is good but hard to find.

but daily i use Grov Snus Lös

on the other hand all thosa ar banned in finland

but somehow the appear in my fridge :)

I'm a lightweight, and a smoker-trying-to-cut-down on cigarettes, and my favorite replacement to satisfy my need for nicotine is Camel Snus (Mellow flavor). There is absolutely no mess and no spitting with this product and it can be used anytime, even in 'stealth mode', for it is no longer enough for politically-correct anti-freedom nazis to ban smoking, more and more they ban "all tobacco use" as though my chew can somehow give others cancer or other health problems. This pervasive new policy shines the glaring spotlight of Truth on their real motivation, which is not to protect the health of second-hand innocents, but to control and tax YOU for what they deem to be a bad choice. You get no "choice" of course; that freedom is reserved to them only.

If you disagree with this, please tell me how using a clean, spitless pouch of tobacco, far less noticeable than chewing gum, to stifle nicotine cravings is any different than using nicotine gum or patches? Why should the one be banned and not the others?

i agree with you on this. however if i wanna put in a big dip and spit on the ground no one should be able to tell me not to do that either. i sat in a tobacco free hospital last week(birthing classes, got to love um) threw in a dip at the break point, funny thing no body noticed or was bothered by it for the rest of the class.

but hey what do i know.

skoal long cut wintergreen for me

I'm with you on this. I like Days Work, most people have never seen plug tobacco so it looks like your just eating some thing.

This is my fourth year snuff free. I ran out one night while at home and was too lazy to go to the store. Decided then to quit and I did. Yes I stopped cold after fourteen years and for me it was easy. I have seen coworkers try to quit and fail, I guess we are all different.

In high school it was Copenhagen and I moisten it w/ Jack to keep it fresh. Since then it's Skoal Wintergreen/Straight or Mint long cut to change things up.

YES, At first I hated it. I thought pouches = weak. It's an acquired taste. 2 pouches in the lower lip work good. Still spit. It won't take the place of Cope, but it's I good switch. STRONG!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

What is Swedish Snus?

Swedish snus is a moist to semi-moist, oral tobacco product that is used behind the upper lip. There are two formats for Swedish snus, loose and portion packed. Both formats are available in different flavour varieties. Swedish snus is made from selected tobaccos, water, salt and flavourings, following recipes dating back to the 19th century. Swedish snus is pasteurized in a proprietary heat treatment process that meets the Swedish food standards.

With Swedish snus there's no chewing or spitting. Only pure tobacco enjoyment.

How To Use Snus?

Snus is placed under the upper lip.

No chewing, sucking or spitting is required, just leave it and enjoy the tobacco flavour. Leave it as long as you need or want to. Normal use is 15-60 minutes. Snus is the smokeless alternative when you are not permitted or choose not to smoke.
