I want to add a little more power to the engine, which is currently stock, exept relocated lift pump. It is really important for me to be a reliable set up, as the thuck is used daily, loaded with materials most of the time.

I want to keep the good MPG or make it better. I am planning to upgrade to ConOFE clutch, as I think the ConFE will be too much. I am also planning on getting the Smarty, and possible the new Donaldson drip-in filter oil-free air filter from Amsoil. I already got the 4" turbo back system from Stan's Headers, waiting in the garage. New exhaust Jacobs e-brake is going in too.

So I guess, my question is which injector do you guys recommend for my purpose. I do not want to change the tubro, at least not now with the injector install. I just want a reliable truck, with a little more power.

I am looking into the F1 and Dynomite Diesel injectors now, in the 60 to 100 HP range.

All your opinions are really appreciated.

I've got the Mach2's. Had the stock turbo for quite a while. You CAN get it pretty hot with the stock turbo, but overall it's very controllable. As I remember, MPG went up a pretty fair amount too.

IMO, can't go wrong with Mach2's.

I had no problems with my Mach 2s and an EZ with the stock turbo. It's actually a killer towing combo! EGTs were very managable. I'd think the injectors with the Smarty to have similar results.

I'd probably get the Smarty first. That way it will allow you to run higher boost for better cooling without overboost defueling. The injectors-only might get a little toasty or cause extra boost that could trigger defueling.
