AUTO tRANS

well now, these are good looking trucks even if they are 'anteaters'. the one at taylor trucks looks to be the better truck, but yhe one on e-bay has a much better price tag. what's with the burns? i smoke[trying to quit] and i have NO burns in mine. i do like the solid red one because it's one color but the other one looks like the owner took a lot better care of it and put some personal touches on.

one thing, you can apply for a 200,000 mile tag as soon as you get it. he he.

i'm assuming we still get to help?

choose wisely oh great one

Well... yeah, those seat burns bother me... but it is nice AND it's a manual. I much prefer a manual.

The auto's are kinda spendy to fix (and i'm a po boy) and need a lot of attention if you do any BOMB'ing.

(yeah, you can see me driving a stock truch... uh huh. sure. And pigs have wings, too)

:D :D :D

My Dad told me about a 95 2500 SLT auto with 76K miles for $13,500. Didnt specify, so I guess it's 2wd. 207-867-2041 it's in Rockland, Me.

He saw it in the paper, not in person.

Also, I saw a few fixer uppers in a trade paper a while ago. If memory serves me it was a 97 club cab 5 speed for $8900. I'm sure mileage was under 100K. It needed front end work. Small picture, but it looked like a grill and bumper would do it. The same place has more than one CTD.

It was located in NY state, if youre interested I can see if I could find a phone #.

I posted this info about a month or two ago in a post started be rednuts, think it was in the 12 valve forum...

It'll have to be... $10,000 or less, preferrably 9K

It HAS to be a club cab... and 2wd is fine. The wife won't yell so much about getting into it :)

Probably the 5th gear nut thing.

AT 211K miles, it's quite likely.

Total Average Trade-In: $11,975

(*)Total Average Retail: $15,250

That's for the truck, from NADA, including the milage deduct.

The milage deduct was 3750, which means without it, it's a 19K truck.

Ebay's not bidding up much, and it's less than 7 hours now. I kinda think there ought to be someone here who would like it. I can't bid, because you have to pay within 5 days, but dang, if someone out there needs one of these, it appears to be turning into a good deal. Of course, the last hour bidding will probably run it up a ways... but sometimes not. It's Sunday on a holiday weekend... .
