Pulley needed - power steering pump 8 rib

Chevy and Detroit Diesel.

One of our earlier members (CJohnson) put a CTD in his motorhome in lieu of the old 460 Ford. Never did hear how well he did with it. Looked real sweet tho.

I recently purchased a 1984 dodge b-350 15 passenger van. I would definatley like to put a cummins in this beast! Definately need more fuel economy and the nice rattle of a 12v. Has this been done before?

I have 2;

1943 Dodge Carryall

1943 Dodge Carryall

1954 Dodge M37

Page Error: moosecreekmaple. m37project

Will be starting my 3rd as soon as the M37 rolls out in a few weeks.

I use Cummins 4BTA CPL 857 engines, NV-4500 Transmissions and NP-205 Married T Case

JEEZE - absolutely AWESOME!

Words are not sufficient - how could a person familiar with what it took to salvage what you started with, ever put a proper price on that? GREAT job, not to mention the perseverance to see it through! :)

Thanks for the kind words. Its fun to rebuild/restore the old iron. My 1943 Carryall took me to Labrador in 2005. The M37 is going to Alaska.

I have two - first is the grand daddy '85 crewcab 4xDually Cummins 6-speed (my next project ;)), and the other... . (which I haven't 100% decided not to do)... is a Dodge suburban (crewcab front half, Ramcharger back half) 4xDually Cummins.

If those turn out 1/2 as good as NACHO. They will be impressive. I have read your nacho thread from the beginning. (yet haven't been on there in a while) You do VERY NICE WORK. -Jason

WM300,

Is that the Dodge carryall from the 2008 TDR calender? I have been drooling over that since I got it. 2008 may be stuck on that month all year!

I have three CTD dreamtrucks...

1) Repower my '85 W350 crew shortbed with my '90 w250 CTD. Then add intercooler, single stack exhaust, custom bumpers, custom ladder rack, lockers, winch, onboard air, 285's on steelies, and eventually a five speed. Paint the whole thing olive drab green:cool:. Well... ... maybe.

2)Restore my '79 WarlockII 2wd parts truck and then repower with a 4BT and727. Run the exhaust through a right side Little Red Express step and stack. Try making everything look as close to a factory build as possible.

3)Combine my '60 D400 and D500 into a custom crewcab with a vintage looking custom camper conversion to sleep/eat 4. Repower with a 12-valve, 6-speed, keep the three speed brownie and 2-speed rear. Custom air ride seats to ease the ride and add air conditioning. Only concerns are how to fit a cummins under that short hood and if I can figure out a disc brake conversion.

Yes, my Carryall was selected for the 2008 TDR calender. I took the Calender Picture 1/2 way between Goose Bay and Churchill Falls Labrador on the Trans Labrador Highway. The post above gives the link to the Trans Labrador Expedition. You will find the Calender Picture there also along with many more.

I'm pretty excited to get my 93 Ford done, it's kinda my dream truck.

93 f250, reg cab 4x4. 03 Cummins, with NV4500, and once it's running and there's any money left, I'm going to order a dana 60 fornt axle.

One day, I would like to put an '03 CR engine in an early eighties full size Cherokee Chief. Preferably white, running an NV 5600 with 35" mud tires and 4. 10s. Danas front and rear with a strengthened frame, and while I'm at it, a fully redone interior.

I would love to find a good round headlight era 1990's Wrangler and put a 3. 9 Cummins in it with the 4500 trans. Big time dream, as I already have too many "projects".

I saw one in Commerce, Ga. at the Dodge drag event a couple years ago. It is a beautiful fit and should be factory offered!!

A 2000 and newer model 3/4 suburban!!

Has anybody done, or know anybody that has done a 2000 or newer model chevy with a cummins?? Please let me know. .
