Are aftermarket 3:55 gears available? If so, where?

Strange situation here. 03 model HO. Start it in the morning the oil pressure comes up normally and after about a minute drops to 0 and starts chiming.

Take it to the dealer and they install a new sending unit. Go home, fine for a few days and it does it again.

Back to the dealer and they put a new oil pump in. Said the old one was "on the high side of spec".

Home again and it's done it twice since then. Not every time but maybe once a week. I understand the whole gauge is an idiot light thing but am I chasing an electrical gremlin here? There is an error somewhere. Electrical connection, ECM? Any suggestions? TIA.

At this point I believe it to be a gremlin. Especially after the new oil pump. I just wanted to get your opinions. I should also add the weather was not really cold when this occurred, 40 to 50°.

I second the notion of installing an aftermarket gauge, just to be sure. Even if it's only temporary. It's the only way to know for sure.

Some early 03's had a cluster problem that made the gauge go to zero. Can't recall if it was replace the cluster or just flash it.
