hey guys,
Thinking of putting a ZF5 in my 2001 Dodge cummins. Currently have the nv4500 but it has gone out once, and getting ready to go again.
Just wanted some advice on how the ZF5's do bolted to a ISB. I know that alot of conversions have the zf5 and some have the nv4500, I am already convinced by the rebuild bill and the price of the damn oil that it nv4500 is a piece of I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER. But i like the ZF5, at least behind a powerjoke.
Will the ZF5 handle all that torque? Or would I just be throwing my money away?
Also, can I adapt the ZF5 to the transfercase in my Dodge, or would I have to use the Ford transfer case????
Any info apreciated.
