Does anyone have any experience with the zoom clutches in a truck with a nv5600? Did some searches but couldnt find much helpful info on them.

Not in one of these trucks.

Many years ago I had a Cuda 340 I put one in. It was a total POS.

I went to a Hayes disc and all was well.

You can`t beat South Bend for Quality and Service. I have been using them for over ten years and over a million miles between two 2nd Gen. 3500`s. You get what you pay for.
Good Luck Capt Phil

SouthBend Clutch, South Bend, IN. SBC is a trusted vendor and TDR advertiser who has been serving TDR members longer than I have been a member or Dodge owner. Why buy an unknown product from an unknown vendor?

I have no affiliation with SBC, have never even bought their products.

I've had the ZVT stage 2 for 50,000 miles now. No problems so far. Truck is daily driver with little towing.

Shifts ok. Because the stage 2 is a ceramic material, it is a little grabby when taking off. I have to start out in first gear instead of second like I did with the stock clutch. Once you get use to it, it's not that noticeable and engagement is smooth.

Keep in mind that the clutch is not designed for racing or sled pulling, nor is it advertised as such. If you plan on doing any of this, maybe SBC would be a better choice.

My truck was ran on the dyno and made 351 h. p. and 851 lb. ft. torque. The clutch has performed with no problems. I know these are baby numbers compared to others out there, but you can use as comparison to what you have or may have in the future.

Hope this helps.

Anthony

Thanks for the input it really helps me in my decision. It looks like you truck is set up pretty similarly to mine other than the hrvp44 and exhaust brake and if it works for you it should work for me. Just trying to gather info on all available options of clutches before making the decision. Thanks.
