With all that being said, there is not really an import or domestic auto any more, it is a global market. With trade restrictions and cost to import or export the major automakers build plants world wide, they build it wheres it's going to be sold to keep cost down.



That reason right there, along with the unions, is why the United States is on a fast track down the economic crapper.
 
I don't think it is a joke, but it is odd that he didn't really mention the GM-Isuzu relationship.

If you look at Isuzu's web site under "GM-Isuzu relations" you'll notice that GM's share in the company was shifted from 49% to 12% in 2003.

Thats a bunch of bs. Incompetent management is by far the biggest factor why business does poorly. And the economy (unfortunately not for all) is doing fine.
