This has happen twice on me. Today I was going up a hill pulling a trailer with a smaller John Deere Tractor and the Temp was rising slowly but didn't peg at all. The hill is about 3/4 of a mile long. Anyway when I got to the top I let up on the throttle and the motor just died. It started right up and I kept going. The other time it happen I was going up a longer hill pulling a dump trailer with top soil and the truck did get hotter but didn't peg and I came to a light it just died again and it started right up again and the truck ran fine. When it did die it didn't stumble at all and if it wasn't that the steering got hard I didn't realize it did quit. Anybody have any ideas?
Also is it normal for the temp to rise when not really pushing the truck? Also there was no codes set. The only gauge I have is Fuel.
The truck runs fine otherwise.
